Although the region was experiencing a drought, the falls were still impressive. The photo was taken from the Zimbabwe side of the border with Zambia, downstream from the main cascade. The camera was a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 24-85 mm VR lens at 62 mm. The exposure was f/8 and 1/800 sec. The scene was a good candidate for conversion to monochrome because the major tones were white water & mist and the darker rocky areas. Nik Silver Effex Pro 2 was used. Image by Irwin H. Segel.
