Visiting in Woodstock, VT for the 4th of July weekend, I enjoyed an evening concert by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra on the 5th, followed by the obligatory fireworks over the Woodstock High School fields. This image captured multiple fireworks that came together in a very nice globe of color and line as if a fiber-optics sculpture had appeared above our ooh's and ahh's. I used a Canon 6D with Canon 24-105mm f/4L lens at 45mm, 9.6 seconds at f/11, ISO 160--all on a Vanguard Alta Pro 283CT tripod with Vanguard SBH-250 head.
