This photo was taken one evening at sunset in Washington DC at the US Air Force Memorial. When I first arrived the monument was swarmed with tourist. After waiting patiently for quiet awhile, there was a break in tour buses and the monument was empty. I quickly framed the shot and squeezed off a few shots before the next set of tourist arrived.

This photo was taken with the Nikon D600 with the Tokina 16-28mm wide angle lens shot at 16mm, 1/160 sec, f2.8, ISO 100. The RAW file was edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
