Canon 5D Mark III Lens: Tamron 90mm ISO:640 F:2.8 SS: 1/320

I was photographing a portrait for a holistic healer. She wanted a very earthy feel for her backdrops so we chose Fairchild Botanical Gardens in Miami. While she slipped out for outfit changes I ended up getting drawn into little botanical details. She would come back and find me lost, crouched down under a leaf somewhere. Though the typical attractions: orchids, butterflies etc. are beautiful my eye is always drawn to color, pattern and repetition. I loved the lines and color of this leaf.
