On a trip back from Utah, I stopped at the Grand Canyon. The canyon itself offers palettes of colors but if you look around, you can find many trees and stumps that appear to be petrified but are still truly alive. This tree was really gnarled and bent but I really liked it. I was using a Canon 5D Mark II with a Sigma 70-200mm lens, F6.3 at 1/250.
