While shooting the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo for an assignment, I got access to a rooftop vantage point thanks to their PR dept. The Thunderbirds are stationed at Warren AFB there, and do fly overs and shows during the week. I'm glad I brought earplugs. They fly over so quickly, that I used the 9 fps on my Nikon D3s with 70-200 f2.8 lens with 1.4x teleconverter at ISO 800 1/2000sec f5.6 at 280mm hand held..
