While photographing at Walden Pond in the fall, I came upon this heron. The heron would allow me to get within a few feet of it and then take off, landing about 20 yards further up the shore. Again, I would get within a few feet and it would take off. We played this game half way around Walden Pond until I got this picture with the heron's reflection in the water along with the fall colors. This was taken with a Nikon D4 and 70-200 lens.
