Found these two cranes in a corn field at the end of winter while cruising the countryside near Shipshewana, Indiana. They were walking away from me and came to a fence. I knew that they were going to have to take flight to get over that barrier, so I aimed where I thought they might be taking flight. Got lucky enough to have been right. They are such beautiful birds.
