I captured this beautiful gradient sky and fading blueridge mountains along the Appalachian Trail at Max Patch about 2o minutes before the sun came up over the ridge. A small light can be seen along the side of the mountains as well. I watched this light wind its way around the side of the mountains, I can only imagine it is an Appalachian Trail hiker hoping to complete his/her journey to Katahdin.
