This was taken up on top of one tree hill in Ararat (which is the local lookout). From one side you can see the town and from the other you can see some of the mountains that are apart of the Grampians Mountain Range. Back to the photo, I took this moments before the sun disappeared behind the mountains. I used shutter priority and set in to 1/10 of a second so I could get the sun rays to reach out of the image (I had it set up on my tripod so I did not have to look through the lens while I had direct sun coming through). It was also pointed out to me the further the sun went down the mountains in the far distance became visible
