Here is a summer 2015 monsoonal image of the front range of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. The Sonoran desert is one of the most unique places on earth. The dry and dusty can give way to the wet and wild in a moment's notice. This little cell developed very quickly as the sun began to set. The sunlight making its way through the various rain shafts on the horizon provided a wonderful balance to the isolated storm over Flatiron.
