The Durbin Rocket is an authentic 1920-era steam train powered by a Heisler engine. Heisler No. 6 pulls a coach and vintage wooden caboose along the free-flowing Greenbrier River in Northern Pocahontas County, West Virginia. The 100-ton locomotive was built by the Heisler Locomotive Works in Erie, PA, in 1929. She was first used by the Bostonia Coal and Clay Products Company of New Bethlehem, PA. Later Heisler No. 6 worked most of her adult life for the Meadow River Lumber Company of Rainelle, West Virginia. Top of Form Fujifilm X-T1, XF 18-135mm, ISO 200, 1/240 sec, f/5.6, 59mm. Tom Carroll
