Driving through the backroads surrounding my hometown, I found this abandoned home and wondered what stories it had to tell. Listening to the home while I photographed it, I imagined laughter amidst the hard work of the family farming the surrounding land and visualized children playing games below the trees. The trees and home now stand silent, perhaps recumbent in their own memories.
