South Okanagan Valley of BC Canada.On a stroll through some grasslands near where I live I encountered this Black Bear who was very busy stuffing it's face with dandelions it had found in the field. It was early spring and this Bear was busy feeding and feeding in an effort, I assume, to recover some of the weight it lost over its winter hibernation. Camera was a Canon 7D with a Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings for the photo as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was at 1/320 sec and ISO was at 200.
