The northern part of Manasota Key inside the city limits of Venice, Florida is where this shot was taken last night. Venice is famous for its abundance of sharks teeth inside the beach sand. Folks have been coming here for years looking and sifting for them. One of my go to spots for mirror/reflection shots is a runoff water retention pond right on the edge of the beach. The very recent cold front brought some initial strong southwest winds and high surf, piling sand at this location and blocking the city's attempt at draining it into the Gulf of Mexico. I just use it for the art of photography. Low on the sand, I use my Sony a6000 right out the box with the 50, f10 and ISO 100 and a steady hand working Sony's claim of a blistering auto focus. Works for me !
