This was taken in January at Arches National Park...we photographed the North and South Spectacles at night while light painting the arches and surrounding area...the South Spectacle was, I felt, the best image when light painted...the Milky Way is visible, although dim in the winter. This is a difficult area to light paint; you need two flashlights (one a bright LED), and need to bounce the light.
