Photographed in early morning light in Sedona Arizona this image was captured using a Nikon D70 with the Nikon 18-70mm kit lens at F/22. With the use of HDR photography and a polarizing filter David Swanson was able to extend the scene brightness ratio and maintain detail from the reflection of the golden lit rock to the cool morning light. 3 images were created (-1, Normal and +1 stop) then combined in Photoshop for the final image.
