Running late has never paid off, until now. On this Friday afternoon, I got so emerged in editing my prior days shoot that I lost track of time. Knowing that I had to leave in the next 5 minutes, I rushed to get my shoes on, grab some of my belongings and let the dog out. After opening the door to let her out, I fiddled around with my cell phone, not even paying attention to what was happening right above me. After about a minute, I called for my dog to come in, after no response from her I decided to step outside. That's when I saw it, a vibrant rainbow, full of rich colors. Knowing I was already late, I had no time to even capture a cell phone picture. I get my dog inside, run to the front door and out of the corner of my eye I noticed my DJI Mavic sitting on the couch. Yup! You know what happens next. I flew that little bird straight to 400ft and snapped off two amazing pictures of this rainbow from my backyard. It wasn't until I got in the following evening that I went through the photos and noticed I got a full/half (double rainbow). After working some magic in Lr, Ps and Color Efex Pro, I got this 2 image stitched beauty.
