I woke up before dawn and saw the alignment of the clouds and the full moon looked like Mt Tamalpais had erupted. I knew that I wanted to drive over to see if I could get a foreground of the statue of Sir Francis Drake across from the ferry terminal. Talk about the nick of time...less than two minutes after I took this shot, the mountain was completely blocked by fog. SOOO lucky to live in the Bay Area.
Canon T3i, Tamron 16-300 with a bulb exposure of 30(ish) seconds.
