I was hunting for subjects in the community garden when I noticed a few crows hunting berries. I waited until one with a berry in her beak ] looked ready for takeoff, and started shooting. Caught the berry-bearing crow and the appropriate sign all in one frame.
Liked the mono look to accent the berry. I was using my Canon 5D Mark IV with its 100mm macro lens (was mainly looking for bees and flowers, hence the macro lens) at F6.3, 1/2000, ISO 2000.
I wanted to submit this one for Picture This! Red!, but don't see that category. I may re-submit when it becomes available:)
Thanks,
Gloria
