The Badlands in South Dakota are perfect for B&W images as there is a lot of contrasting light, and many shades of gray. Much of the landscape is rather stark and rugged, however there are some gentle rolling hills which I tried to capture when the light naturally showed some nice contrasting light and dark tones. I used a Leica M240 with a 28mm Elmarit.
