I live in the south Okanagan Valley of BC Canada. This is a very arid area with about 12 inches of precip per year. Nearby is a small group of Mountain Goats that for some reason located here many years ago. BC's Rocky Mountains to the east of here has many of these amazing animals but here in the Okanagan its highly unusual. I have spent many days over many years tracking these animals in our local mountains and finally I managed to get a few photos at close range. Camera was a Canon 7D with a Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was 1/125 sec and ISO was at 100.
