A year round creek near Moab, Utah, reflects the morning light from the towering cliffs of the canyon. The first time I saw this I didn't have my tripod, and the light was so dramatic that I went back 2 days later to see if I could get the same conditions. Usually you can't, but this time it was just as good. Gear: Canon 5D MkIII, 16-35mm lens, tripod. Settings: ISO 100, f11, 1/6 second.
