I've been watching and photographing this nest in a large snag which happens to be in my front yard. This close proximity has enabled me to watch the progress of these parents and their young. The parents work in a smooth rotation in hunting for food and returning promptly to the nest to make sure the nestlings get fed. Nikon D810, 300mm F2.8 with 1.7 extender.
