I've been admiring these flowers and photographing them, but never have I been happy with them until I tried something different. Instead of standing up, as usual, I laid it down on the lining of my husbands jacket, tilting it slightly toward camera. I used a tripod, lowering it to get this angle. Then I used the self-timer so I wouldn't move the camera, manually focusing. This was done on my kitchen table with the ceiling light on.
