Venice Beach, Florida has a moderate down dune approach to the tide line. When the wind near the Earth's surface blows east to west, the lee is fantastic for right on the GLASSY water shots.
Literally right after sunrise, view is west. The tops of these offshore thunderstorms are being blown off from west to east upper level winds. Also a few floating fish were healed from the image.
Taken with the Sony a6000,16-50mm kit lens. This particular morning I was so excited, I forgot I had the in body jpeg file selected saved too small. I brought this file back to printable life with resolution enhancements from Adobe. It was one my favorite and unusual sessions at the same time.
