While staying in Yosemite Valley last Spring, I had every intention of getting to Tunnel View for sunrise, but passed this open field and even in the dark could tell this view would be something special. I hiked out and planted down in the cold dark pre dawn air, and waited for the first signs of sky glow. It was a beautiful peaceful moment.
