This photo was taken from the site of an old whaling station on Amsterdamoya, an island close to 80 degrees North latitude off the northwest coast of Svalbard. The camera was a Nikon D600 with a Nikkor 70-200, f/4 VR lens at 200 mm. The exposure was f/10 and 1/2500 sec. Image by Irwin H. Segel.
