This was taken in Myakka River State Park near Sarasota, Florida. I had been watching this Great Egret for a while as he hopped around searching for a meal. I liked this particular spot because of the flowers and vegetation. Taken with a Nikon D700 and Nikkor 80-400 lens on a Gitzo tripod. ISO is 560, 400 mm, f13 and shutter speed 1/1000 second.
