Nikon D750; Nikkor 200-5--/5.6 with TC14E-III at 700mm; f/8; 1/250; ISO 400

This peaceful cardinal landed in the hemlock hedge about 50 feet from my back door and stayed just long enough for me to grab my camera and take three of four pictures before he took off.
