Shooting a grouping of white barns with great patina in the Palouse, I decided to focus on the details and was especially drawn to the hardware. As I was working the composition, I noticed the gap in the door that perfectly framed the window on the other side of the barn. I used my Canon 80D with a Sigma 18-250 lens. This handheld image was captured at 31mm, 1/100 second f/11, ISO 100.
