By processing this photograph in B&W I felt transported back to this masterpeice of urban planning in an early Roman century. I could walk the neighorhood in character because I couldn't notice the garish orange ropes, used to control where tourists walked. Sometimes it pays to try B&W.
Camera: Kodak Z 712; Settings: f 3.2, 1/400 sec, ISO 649, Pattern Metering, no flash, handheld.
