Out on a Limb

While driving through Core Creek Park in Bucks County, PA I spotted the combination of a deepening shadow and fall foliage. Carefully positioning myself in the shadow of the tree I was able to capture the scene before as well as behind me. The photograph was taken using a Nikon D800 with a Nikon 24-85mm lens (42mm), The exposure was at f/16 for 1/50th of a second (-2/3 EV) set at ISO 250.
