At Ghost Ranch, NM, a short desert shower created a spectacular horizon-to-horizon rainbow. While I was shooting happily, a tiny cloud moved, and revealed the moon shining through the rainbow. I was delighted to be able to take this shot before something changed that would ruin the effect. Taken with a Canon 30D, Canon 17mm-85mm zoom lens at ISO 160, 1/100th, f/14.
