Sitting in my hotel room balcony one morning, I noticed that this hotel was reflected in the glass exterior of an office building across the canal. I was attracted to the reflected image by the fact that the curvature of the glass in the office building had distorted the reflected image in such a fascinating manner. The photograph was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L lens at 58mm and 1/100 sec, f/6.3, and ISO 200. The photograph was cropped and converted to black and white using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and NIK (Google) Silver Efex Pro.
