The photo was taken at the Lamanai Mayan Ruins, Belize, on a dull, overcast day with a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200 mm VR lens at 24 mm. Exposure (hand held) was f/8 and 1/20 sec (ISO 400). The original color photo was processed in Photoshop with the help of Topaz and Nik plug-ins to produce a sharpened, high contrast, black and white, moody vignetted image. Photographed by Irwin H. Segel, Davis, California.
