This photograph is from a Water Drop series that I am creating. This is purely macro photography. I used a single flash set up to freeze the motion of the waterdrops and I experimented with different backdrops and objects to capture the water refraction. This captures a water drop after it has reached the water and has popped back up. The background that was refracted into the drop is a rose and the camera used is the nikon d7100 with a macro lens.
