We have always been fascinated by weather, especially thunderstorms and the power of lightning. The Lightning Trigger App allows you to photograph lightning and flash events, such as fireworks with your phone anytime of the day as well as the nught, and the App is very easy to use!

To start, simply load the App and adjust the sensitivity slider to maximum then press the start key and reduce the sensitivity so that the camera becomes stable - then wait for lightning to occur. To shoot at night press the night mode key, this automatically adjusts the ISO to obtain the best image quality.
The App works best in low light, twilight and at night. Avoid using under artificial lighting or bright light sources since these can cause false triggering - as previously mentioned, if this happens reduce the slider sensitivity to stabilize the camera. Then hold the phone steady in the horizontal or landscape position to increase the chances of capturing the lightning within the field of view of the smart phone camera.

The nature of lightning flashes varies considerably. Typically, lightning is comprised of multiple pulses of light that are very brief, but occur numerous times in each lightning event. The Lightning Trigger App scans for these pulses to provide incredible lightning images. Not all lightning flashes are photogenic; they maybe too brief, or may be too far away, so they might not be captured. The Lightning Trigger App does a great job for the money!   
Always remember that lightning is dangerous. You should never be outside during a thunderstorm. If if you hear thunder, don't wait - seek shelter immediately inside an enclosed structure, or automobile. Stay away from open doors and windows. Wait 30 minutes after the storm passes before you go outside. You can photograph lightning through a closed window and get excellent results.
