This image by Gary Larsen was created on a stormy, winter evening in Upstate NY when just a light accumulation had been predicted. Looking down the driveway, it was clear that well over a foot of snow had already fallen. The irony struck that I was using our yard "light" at the end of the driveway to watch the "storm" grow in depth... hence "Light Storm." It was made with a Nikon F100 on Fujichrome Provia 100F film using a Nikkor 80-200mm lens @ 80mm with f/8 and a 2-minute exposure on a Manfrotto Carbon One tripod. It was scanned using a Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 and post-processed in Photoshop CS5.
