At Katmai National Park, Alaska, the bears stake out their territories and attempt to catch salmon as they try to jump the falls. Despite the bears being very good at intercepting the salmon, with this salmon all the bear could do was watch and dream about what might have been. Equipment was Nikon D4s, Nikon 80-400 G ED; settings were f/8, 1/1200 sec., ISO 2000.
