A honey bee from my mother's hive, out foresting for honey on a blossoming oregano. I just happened to snap this picture as he was jumping off the plant into flight. I had a narrow depth of field bc this was in the shade and I didn't want to kick my ISO too high (400). I think I'm only at f5.6 on this shot and a shutter of 1/4000.
This was taken with my Nikon D610 with a Tamron 60mm f2.0 macro lens.
