I was my local park watching the ducks, geese, and swans enjoying the early spring. There was a bit of squabbling among the mallards and the snow geese, but this mute swan was quite sedate in his dignified paddling. It was clear that wherever he wanted to dip for food was his to use as the others gave him a wide berth. I used a Nikon D7100, 105
mm f/2.8 macro lens, using aperture priority 1/5000 sec. at f/2.8. In lightroom, I cropped a bit, desaturated the water and increased the contrast to bring out the feathers and the water droplets.
