This picture was taken in the Serengeti, Tanzania, during the great migration in May, 2013. A herd of bearded wildebeest and zebra came to a small steam. Apparently wary of crocodiles (there were none), they first hesitated to cross, then attempted to leap the stream.

Taken with a Nikon D7100 and a Nikkor 70-300mm lens at 300mm. ISO 800; 1/2500 @ f/7.1
