Subtlety is everything; too many sunsets or sunrises are overblown, oversaturated or overly vibrant. This one seemed to have the right, understated yet powerful mix of colors, with the trees giving it a meaningful foreground. The appearance of a nuclear test from the Fifties gave this a somewhat surreal twist, and I brought out the reflection in the water, leaving it a bit on the darker side.
