This image was taken in the Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming. This is the Snowy Range Mountain Range that appears and grows large on the horizon. It is such a wild place even in July when this image was created. It is a place of yearning and loneliness. I am reminded of the Romantic painter, Casper David Friedrich. The human condition is to be small in the looming landscape. It creates feelings of isolation which every human experiences to an extent.
