This image was taken March of 2014 in St. Joseph, Missouri. An unoccupied structure caught on fire and several fire trucks responded. The building was beyond saving, so the goals of the firemen were to ensure no one was injured, contain the fire to prevent it from spreading to adjacent structures, and extinguish the fire. These two firemen were coordinating crowd control and resources. This is a hand held image taken in low light conditions. My priority was to maximize the depth of focus, so I used high ISO and lower shutter speed.
