I reside in Cave Creek Arizona where ice and snow are a rare occurrence. However in February of last year we had a severe frost. The small fountain on my front patio began to freeze and as the water flowed downward it froze into long ice cycles forming a cave like appearance.
Thinking to have some fun with family and friends back east I reduced a photo of myself leaning on a wall and placed it deep into the "cave", which was promptly emailed to all.
The overall response was "we didn't know you had ice caves in Arizona and were you afraid climbing in there"? I waited a long time before I revealed my secret. Actually there are ice caves (lava tubes) in Arizona in the Flagstaff area.
