While photographing sunsets over Lake Pickthorne North of Jacksonville Arkansas I was able to capture a Lockheed C-130J "Super Hercules" on final approach to Little Rock AFB. The C-130J "Super Hercules" is the latest version of this venerable military transport aircraft which has been in production since 1954, starting with the YC-130A.

I was using my Sigma SD15 camera mounted with the Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 zoom lens at 500mm OIS on and hand held. ISO 100 1/100sec f/6.3 -0.7EV.
