I found this potter wasp nest on a cucumber vine in my sons garden. It amazes me that a wasp is capable of creating such a beautiful work of art. This vase shaped nest is less than a half an inch in size. I used my Canon 100mm macro lens for this shot. It's one of my favorite lenses and it allows me to get up close and personal with nature.
