I have documented many historical landmarks in Birmingham where I've lived now for 19 years and this one from the recently restored Lyric Theatre invoked such an emotional response because it says so much in those three words about the history in this state and civil rights in the south that although progress has been made....there is much more to be done! I shot this using my Sony A7ll with a FE 50mm f1.4 ZA lens at iso 400 with focal length at 35mm.
